Daylight Simulator

Any latitude, any date: sunrise, sunset, day length, civil twilight and the golden hours, drawn as an arc. It knows about the midnight sun and the polar night, and it shows how fast the day changes around your dates.

Daylight is the variable travel media never quantifies. At the equator it is fixed at twelve hours; at 78 degrees north it runs from zero to twenty-four within a few months and changes by forty minutes a week around the equinoxes. Pick a place or type a latitude, choose a date, and the simulator draws the sun’s arc and lists the hours.
